This month, Kacey Musgraves will release Pageant Material, the much-anticipated follow-up to her fantastic Same Trailer, Different Park album. To give us a taste, Kacey recently released the set's first single called "Biscuits." The song is similar to some of the left-leaning tunes from the last record, and was written by the same team who penned the bold "Follow Your Arrow." Watch the lyric video below.
This week, British radio premiered two additional tracks from Pageant Material. The first is "Dime Store Cowgirl," a song where Kacey reminds herself and everybody else of her roots and how her newfound fame hasn't changed her. Kacey revealed it was partly-inspired by the media calling her a sore loser after the camera caught her making a disappointed face after losing an award to Miranda Lambert in 2013.
The second song is "High Time," a Western-tinged mid-tempo song about relaxing and stopping to take everything in, something Kacey's probably has to do a lot since her popularity soared over the last few years.
