FIRST PRESS: Frankie incorporates elegant songwriting with Spice Girls-influenced pop

On "Problems Problems", LA-based artist Frankie grapples with a shaky relationship against a backdrop of big beats, staccato coos, and a chorus that climbs the highest heights. It's instant, infectious, and the perfect song to introduce audiences to Frankie's brand of exceptionally written and executed pop. She revealed to SongMeanings that her influences range from Fleetwood Mac to Spice Girls, which is evident in her smart lyrics with perfect pop gloss.

Her Spice Girls side comes out on the sugary "New Obsession," which takes cues from Kesha and Bonnie McKee in terms of its bouncy delivery and cascading harmonics.

Both "Problems Problems" and "New Obsession" come from Frankie's debut EP out this fall.
