With her mammoth smash "Problem," Ariana hopped on the trend of chorus-less pop songs, recruited pop's hottest commodity Iggy Azalea, and used a sax to dirty up one of the year's biggest hits thus far.
On "Break Free," the second single from her upcoming sophomore album My Everything, Ariana employs EDM mastermind Zedd to change up her sound in a big way. Although you could argue that hard dance songs like this will (finally) phase themselves out of pop radio rotation soon, a song like this will make the genre hard to ignore. Compared to "Problem," this has a clear, anthemic chorus that's the definition of dancefloor ready. The glitched-out intro and ending recall Zedd's work on Lady Gaga's ARTPOP.
