Soon, we'll have another Kylie Minogue era upon us. No one does pop like Kylie, and based on the names rumored to be involved with her as-of-now untitled album (Dev Hynes, MNDR, Pharrell, and loads more), we could be in for one of her most bombastic records yet.
As a New Years gift to us all, Kylie revealed the title of the upcoming single from the album - "Into The Blue."
Maybe it's about diving into an ocean? Maybe it's about diving into a deep depression? Maybe it's about smurfs?
We also learned who makes up the production and writing team:
- Mike Del Rio (Selena Gomez' "Birthday," Cheryl Cole's "Under The Sun," Christina Aguilera's "Make The World Move")
- Jacob Kasher (Ke$ha's "We R Who We R," Avril Lavigne's "Here's To Never Growing Up," Cobra Starship's "Good Girls Go Bad")
- Kelly Sheehan (Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body," Ciara's "Fantasy Ride," Rita Ora's "How We Do (Party)")
QUITE the lineup here. A fan review of the new single said :
It's really warm and nice, happy and very uplifting dance pop. Much bigger dancier production than All The Lovers but totally the vibe of that songs chorus.
Give it to us, Kylie. Give it to us like we want it.
