Nerina Pallot releases her 1st of 12 EPs planned for 2014

British singer-songwriter Nerina Pallot has a lush, sweet voice and songs rich with imagery. I'd definitely call her one of the UK's best. Some might know her for penning the fabulous Kylie single "Better Than Today," of which she recorded her own version, too.

In 2014, Nerina decided to test out new sounds through a series of EPs rather than a new album. As the latest artist to explore new release strategies in a shifting industry, Nerina plans to release 12 EPs on the last Monday of every month in 2014.

Ambitious? Absolutely. But if anyone has the creativity and work ethic to pull it off, it's Nerina.

Today, she posted the first EP online for your streaming pleasure. January's EP is called The Hold Tight EP and features Nerina exploring more rhythmic sounds, backed by the same imaginative storytelling we expect. You can download and buy the EP officially on January 27th, or if you're in the UK, you can pay a flat fee to receive every EP automatically for the entire year.
